We're in the process of converting our Library into a Media Center and we've been moving things around to make this happen. The computer lab was converted into a classroom this year (we have grown as a school and we're out of classroom space) and we needed to get creative about how we would handle computer classes. All of the desktops from the computer lab have been moved into Kindergarten classrooms and the Media Center will use mobile labs of computers and iPads.
Mrs. Chang and Mrs. Tisdell will be co-teaching Media Classes to all students at Pu'u Kukui Elementary. We have moved around learning areas within the "old library" to create more areas for double classes of students. This week our new furniture arrived. We now have tables that are easy to move around and get out of the way when we need more floor space. We've also created four interactive teaching/collaboration areas. Check back later for pictures of our new center.
